GuitarsOfWarr is wondering if they will be playing Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Half-Life 2, Gears of War or other.

“I heard a lot of them are migrating to Halo 3. Forcasts say that there may be a flock going Call of Duty 4. Some previous generation species are staying with GOW. Half-Life 2 is still up in the air.”
“Halo 3 are now the prowling grounds of this all to comman beast. Noticable by there high pitched vioces and unusual in the fact that they communicate using strung together, non punctuated sentances filled with profanities … ok if left alone but what ever you do, do not approach them if you see them … they may start to verball attack you or even worse tell thier Mum about you .”

“Grand Theft auto Liberty city stories (must have) Metal Gear solid Portable Ops (the other ones suck) Coded arms (really good if you like FPS) Power Stone Collection (good if you’ve played power stone, loading times are very anoying but pass that, plays great) Burnout Legends (if you like the burnout series, if not, it will make you a fan), i don’t like dominator that much but it’s good also”
“Well the top 5 will vary from person to person due to personal preference but my top 5 would have to be Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection Monster Hunter Freedom Either Daxter or Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters And Kingdom of Paradise warrants a mention for my sixth spot. Why is there a sixth spot for a top 5 list? Well you already said you were going to get Tekken so I thought you might want a top 5 list that didn’t count Tekken.”
“it all depends on the types of games you like. the other suggestions are all pretty good, but daxter is really really short and has no replay value so you might just want to rent it instead…. try rachet and clank instead, i heard it has a lot of unlockables and its a lot more lengthy. besided that some other good games are killzone liberation (for online), prince of persia: rival swords, and metal gear solid portable ops”

Electronics are updated, offers change, it’s part of life yet some people think they are getting ‘ripped off’. Thankfully there are people of sound mind and body.
New 80gb PS3? We Launch Owners Got Screw …
“Why didn’t sony just do this in the first place?! Now those of who have the ps3 already are being over shadowed by a new ps3 with more gigs..PLUS A GAME FOR THE SAME PRICE WE PAID FOR THE 60GB! That’s screwed up man….really screwed us over. We should be able to turn our ps3’s in for the 80gb one. You know that wont happen though. Those of you who own the ps3 already…what do you think?”
“It doesn’t bother me at all. we all new a price drop would come at one point or another. The price dropping is not making me enjoy my PS3 any less. I’m sure launch360 ownersfelt screwed when MS released the elite, but again, they can still play the same games so who cares.”

“NO! I had it, and was fortunate enough to be able to take it back. Its way too touchy, and when you lower the sensitivity, it feels more like driving a boat. I’ve had way more fun with that game since I got rid of the wheel. Also, the bundle that comes with Project Gotham, Is having trouble installing the force feedback function properly, My experience, and the guy at EB, said, I was the fifth to mention that. So yeah, my opinion… not worth the money. Drive a real car if you want a good wheel experience.”
“I totally disagree…the wheel is great fun and enhances the racing experience…the force feedback is great and its well worth the money…another great racing game for the wheel is Flatout: Ultimate Carnage…”
“It’s all going to be opinions, Just decide if $200 is a good price tag to play a game. People who chose to keep the wheel are going to say it rocks, and people who got rid of it are going to say it sucks. Sure you can use it to play other games, and If racing is really really your thing, then maybe to need that wheel. See if you can try one out somewhere first, because its really a matter of, “hell yeah!” or “what the f…”.”

A 14 year old going by the handle ‘mwc0422′ has started a thread titled ‘To Everyone with Problems about 14 yr Olds on XBL’.
“Let me start off by saying one thing; I am 14. Now, let me get to my reason why I posted this. I know half of the 12-14 year olds on XBL are extremely annyoing, but I know that I am probally one of the most mature 14 year-olds out there. To make a long story short, please don’t judge every single 12-14 year old by saying that every one of us is inmature and shouldn’t be allowed to use a mic and etc. I know I probally didn’t post this where it is supposed to be so my bad. Look forward to feedback about this.”
“I’m fourteen as well and agree, but the matter of fact is that there are always going to be jerks on live who are more immature than anybody because they are just plain jerks (I used a word beside jerks but it was censored). There’s no getting around it. There are ALWAYS going to be people who will read stuff like this and automatically disregard it just because the oppinion came from someone who is younger than they are.”

And as we’ve heard many times weather it be news on the front of the new paper or kids freaking cursing over a mic, we all know that it’s best to keep kids away from M rated games. It really doesn’t matter if there is a select few who can propperly handle the content.”
“younger kids on xbl should be fine as long as they are calm and respectful. ive played with little kids that scream, shout, insult other players for no reason those are the bad ones. the kids that arnt even in 6th grade and are playing gears of war. ive also played with some kids that are calm and say smart things those are the good ones the “mature ones”.”

Whenever you press Home, then go to the Wii menu (such as if you were in a game) the Wii actually reboots itself. If you have more channels it has to load it, so the more you have the more seconds it does to get to the Wii Menu.”

“This is a great system to play. Very user friendly and is very helpfull on telling you how to do things. The only game I got now is Wii Sports though. Im going to rent 2 games tomorrow but only 2. What 2 games do you guys recommend?”
“I would get re4, godfather, or nfs carbon.”
“RE4, Wii Play, Tiger Woods, Mortal Kombat Armageddon. Any two of these as they all make great use of the Wii-mote and have great multiplayer action (except RE4)”

Do I Turn You On or Off?

From time to time this subject crops up in the forums so today Echo13791 asks “Do u have ur ps3 in sleep or off?“.
“What i mean by this is do you have urs in sleep (that red light is still on) or totally off (turn it off using the switch in the back).”
“weekdays i ussually turn it off coz i dont have time to play(stupid homework) on weekends wen im not playing its ussually in sleep”
“I keep mine in sleep to avoid cold starts. Better for the system to always have some juice in it.”
“I have my PS3 in my room and with the T.V and PS3 on it gets hot fast so if its hot day I just turn it off completely if not I run Folding@home”
“Yeah mine’s usually in sleep, and after reading in the instructions to my new hdtv that state it’s fine leave the tv in sleep all the time unless you’ll be away from your house for a couple weeks, I’ll probably do the same with my PS3.”

“I agree, nothing is more annoying than some shrill noise coming from your speakers because someone feels the need to act out their death on screen in real life (example…Southpark episode about WoW). Or, some goof-ball screaming orders and such. I play online with my PC and hardly use my headset unless it is with people I know and on a closed channel.”
“not having headsets is a problem. If youve played on xbox live, you would see how much better it is. Sorry to say….and no “sometimes thats a good thing” is not a valid justification. Yeah some people with mics are annoying, but for the most part, everyone having one DOES help with the game play. It definitely makes it more fun if you are in a good room. I, like most people, would rather deal with a few jerks everyonce in a while than not have the option AT ALL of being on a team where everyone has a mic. Its easy to avoid annoying people. Either mute them, or just leave and join another session.”
“I personally like voice chat cause when you play with friends (or good mature players) you can devise plans a tactics without going out of your way to send the message. It’s a double edged sword though. That’s why I pick and choose who I play with and try to get some kind of community going, and become online friends. That means less hassle and BS dealing with morons, especially if your (insert game here) circle of friends gets big enough, you can just host your own games in password protected rooms.”

“I would assume, that as long as you use Crackdown to donwload the Beta, it should work. I mean they’re hardly going to make you boot up Crackdown each time are they?”
“as far as I understand it yes they are going to make you load crackdown to play the beta, and therefore stop people renting the game for 2 days and playing the beta for 3 weeks. However, I would have thought you could play the beta whilst you have the rental copy.”
“you can play the beta, but you need to keep the disc to play it, the beta can only be accessed through the crackdown disc.”
