Blame Fanboys for Nintendo’s 3rd Party Problems?

Kevin Cassidy, founder of GoNintendo, was asked the question “Are Nintendo fans too hard on third-party games?”.
Kevin makes the argument that Nintendo fans want more violent games but is this the real or only problem? Could Nintendo’s very strong 1st party games be an issue? Most people do buy Nintendo consoles for the 1st party support. Could Nintendo support 3rd parties more with promotion or development tools? What could the big N do to help with 3rd party games?
“Konami, Ubisoft, THQ, EA, and many other big name third party developers have announced that they have a number of games in the works for the Wii. You have ports of last generation games, original IPs exclusive to the Wii, huge titles from EA’s lineup, and more. Yet from what I have seen, Wii owners are complaining about almost everything the Wii has heading its way.”
